APW, and Jon Bullock, thank you for helping me achieve my goals for this year - Arizona Ironman 70.3 being the big one, and all the events leading up to it. Your training pushed me to keep going, and I learned new things! Having you at the events when you could be there was awesome too, and thank you for talking me through my fears and expectations and my visions for the future. You living in a different state never stopped you from checking in with me when I needed it! You always want me to push harder, but if I couldn’t you would not let that hinder my abilities. I look forward to working with you in the future, and having you coach my husband as well! - Addie Hooker

Jon has been a fun and supportive running friend. Having him as a coach was amazing! I had a short training window for the NYC Marathon so when I asked him if it would be possible to get me trained and ready he said...It will be tough but doable. Off we went. He created an excellent training program for me and kept me on track. He cared about my recovery just as much as my running. He asked often "how are you feeling" "how'd your miles feel". There were days when I didn't feel like putting in the miles but having Coach Jon kept me motivated and focused. He made sure I kept up on my hydration and nutrition too. Like an excellent coach he knew what to say and when to say it and when to push it. My first text on race day was Jon...YOU GOT THIS! Enjoy and have some fun! I was able to stay calm and totally trust my training. Thank you Jon I appreciate your expertise! - Nancy Rollins

I started using Jon as a coach November 2020 to help prepare for IM St. George 70.3 in May 2021 and IM Wisconsin in September 2021. Jon has been on top of my training schedule and being accommodating for work schedules, vacations, etc. Coaching is definitely a partnership where communication is key. Jon has always been very communicative with feedback on my results as well as meeting with me on a regular basis to review progress and future schedules and goals. During the process, I've done a 10K race with a PR that improved my min/mile pace by over 30 seconds per mile. A race simulation of 13.1 miles also brought a new PR for me. I'm no longer huffing and puffing at higher cadences while running. A group of us "hate" Jon for his torturous hill training but we appreciate the results. I haven't even touched on the swim and bike improvements. If you're looking for an easy going coach that is willing to help you improve no matter where you're starting from, "All Paces Welcome" is not just in the name, it's what Jon is about. - Glen Johnson

I won a free massage with Jon from Lisa Pozzoni of The Running University for her Susan G walk and it worked out perfect after the Jerome Hill Climb! Jon is super communicative and flexible. He made time for me on a holiday and I had a great massage. He’s also very knowledgeable as we shared experiences regarding running, ultramarathons, etc. Overall a great experience and look forward to working with him in the future! - Henry Walker
